Love Island's most secure couple Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole have been tested after the explosive reveals of movie night in the villa.

Weston-Super-Mare engineer Jake, 24, is left to try and reassure his gorgeous girlfriend Liberty, 21, after he was shown saying he didn't "want to rip her clothes off" in the very first week of this year's series.

Liberty is left feeling unsure of herself and questioning whether Jake really feels as strongly about her as he claims to.

Forced to do damage control, Jake takes Liberty over to the booth seats for a heart to heart.

Desperate to reassure his girlfriend after a night of revelations, Jake tells Liberty: "You’re my girlfriend.

"I want to take you home to my family."

The beautiful Brummie is still unsure of Jake's feelings despite him staying loyal to her during Casa Amor.

But Jake takes things one step further as he declares: "You’re my future."

Jake and Liberty aren't the only ones suffering the fall-out of movie night, as Faye Winter and Teddy Soares end up having a screaming match across the garden in front of everyone.

Financial consultant Teddy, 26, was immediately put-out that his Devonshire beauty giggled watching herself flirting on-screen with now-dumped islander Sam Jackson.

Feeling disrespected by Faye's lack of remorse, Teddy confronts the islander in the next instalment.

After a huge row, the boys are sticking up for Teddy.

Faye tells Dale Mehmet angrily: "There was nothing in that clip of me and Sam that Teddy didn't already know.

"Did Teddy come back once and say he was sexually attracted to someone? No."

“I’m done with this conversation," Faye declares angrily, walking away.

With more drama sure to come, there are still the suspicious-sounding clips Kaz-Taway, Tinker Tyler Soldier Pie and The Jake Escape yet to be screened.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
