Love Island host Laura Whitmore’s production business is worth close to a million pounds – and £500k is banked as cash – The Sun

LAURA Whitmore is set to strike it rich as troubled Caroline Flack’s Love Island replacement – but the canny rising star is already a millionaire.

She’s sitting on a pot of £865,000 in her business account – and that’s after her costs are taken out meaning she’s in clover.

And her agents have negotiated her a monster six-figure fee for her to host the new series of Love Island when it begins in South Africa..

Her firm Yer Wan Ltd has cash and assets of £865,000 for 2018 – up from £21,000 when she filed her first accounts in 2012.

A cool £519,500 of her bottom line is in cash.

The Irish TV presenter, 34, is dating series narrator Scotsman Iain Stirling, 31, and shot a similar show in 2018 in Survival of the Fittest.

It comes as host Caroline, 40, was forced to quit the franchise, which she has fronted since it started in 2015.

She was charged with assaulting her model boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27.

A TV source said: “Laura ticks all the boxes TV bosses and they didn't have a lot of wriggle room to go looking for someone else."

“Laura is a safe pair of hands and is one of the few presenters out there who has the necessary experience required for this gig.

“She’s been pretty careful with her money over the last few years and has squirrelled away quite a decent amount. Now she’s set to really earn big.”
