Love Island fans distracted as iconic challenge returns and girls turn up heat

Love Island viewers all said the same thing as the iconic Heart Rate Dance challenge returned.

The sexy singletons got pulses racing during the Sunday's (June 25) instalment of the ITV2 dating show.

They took part in the challenge and viewers at home didn't know where to look.

The heart rate game sees the Islanders dress up and perform a series of sexy dances to the group of the opposite sex who gather around the fire pit.

They wear monitors so that it can be revealed who was most excited by who.

From a sassy cheerleader to a cheeky cupid plus a sexy fireman, a knockout boxer and more, the Islanders will showed off their best moves.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "This challenge so awkward to watch #LoveIsland."

Another added: "I hate this challenge so much, just find it hella awkward #LoveIsland."

A third person posted: "This whole challenge is always really awkward #LoveIsland."

While a fourth social media user agreed: "Time to get ready to mute the tv and look away like i love this challenge but it’s awkward."

Catherine Agbaje received a text during the day and read to the villa: "Islanders, it's time to get each other's hearts racing in tonight's Boys vs Girls Challenge #BackToTwerk #GetSexy."

While Ella Thomas slipped her figure into a bejewelled frontless bodysuit, Jess Harding put on an eye-popping display in a risquè cheerleading costume.

Meanwhile, Kady McDermott, who recently entered the villa as a bombshell, transformed into an army girl complete with suspenders and fishnets.

The challenge came after Molly Marsh's shock dumping after Kady stole her partner Zach Noble in the biggest twist yet.

Molly was waved goodbye by her fellow Islanders at the start of the episode.

The girls rushed to hug her after Kady chose Zach in a shock turn of events, meaning she was single and had to leave the villa immediately.

As Molly prepared to leave, Catherine comforted her by saying: "Love always finds a way."

Since her exit, Molly said she really wanted to "carry things on" with basketball player Zach and admitted she didn't see things "going anywhere" with him and his new partner Kady.

Fans admitted they weren't convinced Molly would be dumped for good as they shared their theories that she would return as a Casa Amor girl to stir things up.

However, the theatre star has since been spotted in Mallorca airport leaving the island.

Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
