Love Island fans convinced Marvin will be dumped after he’s ditched by Maura and pied by Amber – The Sun

LOVE Island fans are certain it will be Marvin Brooks who will be packing his bags after tonight's recoupling.

The girls will be doing the choosing around the fire pit in tonight's episode of the ITV2 show, and viewers already have the 29-year-old personal trainer's card marked.

A promo clip for the upcoming episode was shown at the end of last night's instalment, teasing the dumping.

Ovie Soko was seen reading out a text saying: "Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling in which the girls will decide who they want to couple up with. The boy not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the island."

The first boy that was then shown on screen was Marvin, as the camera zoomed in on his concerned face.

And, according to Twitter users, he is right to be worried.

"Bye Marvin," one user posted confidently, followed by a waving hand emoji.

"Marvin's going home…we all already know that #LoveIsland" seconded another.

Chipped in a third: "Marvin is gone and his Love Island legacy will be him calling Amber a damaged door".

That was the unanimous verdict across the social media site following the announcement of the recoupling with many fans making predicting who will pair up with who.

Wrote one: "Recoupling predictions: Molly Mae Tommy, Belle Anton, Jo Anna Michael, Anna Jordan, Maura Curtis, Francesca Ovie, Amber Chris (Bottom two are interchangeable but they’ll all four stay) Marvin is eliminated regardless."

It's no surprise that fans have marked Marvin to get the boot. He was brought into the villa after Maura Higgins coupled up with him in Casa Amor, but she quickly realised they had no chemistry.

After confessing to Lucie Donlan that there was no spark, Maura dumped Marvin at the same time her pal ditched George Rains.

On Monday night's episode, Marvin tried his luck with Amber Gill but ended up getting pied due to his cringeworthy attempt to charm her – even likening her to a damaged door.

He told her: "I can say I fancy you, I just can't say I like you in that sense, you intrigue me.

"You're like a locked door, you want to know what's behind it – it's got a few locks on it and it's got a few cracks at the bottom, slightly damaged."

Amber gasped, hitting back: "Absolutely not damaged in any way, shape or form. The door is brand new."

But Marvin kept digging, adding: "I feel like you fancy me a bit. I can show you that I am better than Michael, I have grown out of the phase of being a f***boy."

And it turns out fans were as unimpressed as Amber was by Marvin's attempt at pulling.

"No no Marvin, stttoopppp….pplleeaaasseeee #loveisland," tweeted one.

Observed another: "Marvin pushed Amber back into her feelings for Michael."
