Love Island Christmas Special: Here's who is – and ISN'T – returning for the festive spin-off

Love Island was most definitely the show of the summer (and every other summer), but that doesn’t mean we can’t catch up with our favourite couples once again over the holiday season.

Yes, that’s right: Love Island and Caroline Flack are officially returning for a Christmas reunion show later this year, where they’ll be rounding up a dozen or so – 19, to be precise – former Islanders for a catch-up, and a couple of awkward reunions besides.

Six months on from the main show’s ending, Love Island: The Christmas Reunion will give viewers the chance to catch up with still loved-up winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer, as well as runners-up Wes Nelson and Megan Barton Hanson and Kaz Crossley, whose boyfriend Josh Denzel is away in the USA.

We’ll also get to catch up with Laura Anderson, Paul Knops, Georgia Steel, Sam Bird, Ellie Brown, and Charlie Brake – and see what happens when those estranged couples come face to face once again – while Samira Mighty, Dr Alex George, Alexandra Crane, Kendall Rae-Knight, Hayley Hughes and Eyal Booker will also reveal whether they’ve had more luck in love outside the villa too.

Oh, and don’t forget about Adam Collard and Zara McDermott too – we’ll also be hearing from them, and finding out if they’re still living happily ever after.

Escaping to a suitably festive retreat, the show will see the Islanders reveal their side to the dramatic break-ups, tabloid rumours and social media storms that they’ve weathered since leaving the villa as we find out who’s still together and who’s happily single once again.

With Iain Stirling narrating and Caroline Flack hosting once again, we can expect awkward reunions, old tensions and a couple of mistletoe moments too, so all you need to do is crank up the central heating and we can pretend we’re in Majorca all over again.

Love Island: The Christmas Reunion will air later this year.
