Love Island Amber’s best mate slams Michael for trying to win her back after cruel dumping

AMBER Gill's best friend has slammed Michael Griffiths for trying to win her back after his cruel dumping on Love Island.

Mart Tweedy is running the 21-year-old beauty's social media accounts while she is away, and did not hold back when it came to the firefighter.

Fans of the ITV2 dating show have seen Amber be left devastated and heartbroken following Michael's treatment of her – with some even calling for the 28-year-old hunk to be booted from the villa after he "gaslighted" his former flame and treated her "like a dog".

Michael has been harsh in repeatedly telling the Geordie that he no longer has any interest in her romantically since he snubbed her for new girl Joanna during the Casa Amor twist.

However, last night's episode ended with Michael telling the other boys that he DOES still have feelings for Amber – just as she had started to move on with new boy Greg.

Viewers at home were horrified and suspicious of his sudden change of heart – and it looks as though Amber's friends and family feel the same way.

Taking to Amber's Instagram Story, Mart wrote: "Michael: Now Joanna's gone it's given me a chance to see clearly…

"The Nation: "

He then included an EastEnders meme of Vanessa Gold exploding in a fit of rage.

The concerned friend reinforced his point over on Twitter, sharing a video of Kim Woodburn in the Celebrity Big Brother house repeating "Don't do it" alongside the caption: "Amber has a successful date with Greg, Greg is amazing, Michael sees Amber happy, Michael suddenly wants Amber back."

Michael has been accused of "playing a game" and "messing with Amber's emotions" by furious Love Island fans, who have picked up on the fact that he only claimed to still be interested in her following Greg's arrival.

Others believe that he is desperate to win the £50k cash prize and knows that being in a couple with Amber could be his only chance.

In a sneak peek at tonight's episode of the show, Michael can be seen telling a baffled Amber: "I'm basically just letting you know that yeah I do still like you."

Looking confused as she sat opposite him, Amber replies: "I don't get it then, if you liked me the whole time, why did you do that?"

With his head bowed, viewers will have to wait until tonight to see what kind of answer Michael comes up with.

However, The Sun Online previously revealed that the two share a steamy kiss following Michael's confession as part of a sexy Buffest Builder challenge.
