Love Island 2021 LIVE – Gordon Ramsay's daughter Megan may join cast as Chloe Burrows says married men 'not off limits'

LOVE Island could welcome one Gordon Ramsay's daughters as a surprise contestant, according to early rumours.

Megan Ramsay, 23, reignited the possibility of one of the Ramsay sisters making an appearance after following England disability cricketer and new islander, Hugo Hammond on Instagram.

Although the full list of contestants has already been announced, there is still a chance Megan could enter the villa as a surprise bombshell islander.

Meanwhile, bombshell Chloe Burrows said "no one is off limits", telling ITV: "You would really think there were fit men in the city but there really aren't. Most of them [fit guys] are married or have girlfriends who, I mean, they're 'off limits'.

"They're not really off limits. I mean I'm partial to a married man."

Meanwhile, the full list of Islanders for this year was revealed yesterday – a week ahead of this season's first episode airing on June 28.

Bookies have already named multi-lingual lawyer Sharon Gaffka, 25, who won Miss International UK in 2018, as the favourite with odds of 4 to 1 while disabled PE teacher and cricketer Hugo coming top among the boys with 5 to 1.

London 'ladies man' Aaron Francis, a 24-year-old events host, comes in second alongside Shannon. Nando's waitress Liberty Poole and water engineer Jake Cornish are currently the rank outsiders.

    TOUGH LOVE

Love Island’s Laura Whitmore has revealed her struggle to look Islanders in the eye after the shock of a Casa Amor betrayal.

The reality show’s host, 36, is getting ready to kick off her second season of the show in Majorca.

Speaking to ITV ahead the show’s big launch next Monday, Laura talked about the show’s ‘second villa’ and said: “I find it really hard.

“Last year when I knew Callum was coming back with Molly and I had to walk in there, and I saw Shaughna… I knew he’s walking in with another girl.

“All I wanted to say was run… but obviously I can’t do that. Even my eyes… I couldn’t look her in the eye.

“But I found that really hard, as she ended up picking nobody and I was thinking, ‘Pick somebody!’.

“But I’m not allowed to say that, obviously.”

    LOVE IS LOVE

Megan Barton Hanson has hit out at ITV bosses behind Love Island after producers said a LGBT version would be ‘logistical difficult’.

The 27-year-old, who rose to fame as a contestant on the dating show in 2018 and came out as bisexual after her stint, said she thinks the show will be “more interesting if they had an all gay line-up”.

She also voiced how she doesn’t believe the current show of “chucking in one bisexual person” is working for the show.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Megan said: “I get why they are hesitant to do it, but I don’t think it’s working when they [producers] chuck in one bisexual person.

“I think with the whole tokenism thing, the girls just end up with the guy, maybe to stay on the show longer, I don’t know. If they had an all gay line-up, it would just be so much more interesting to watch.”

    WHY AREN’T MEAL TIMES FILMED?

Meal times aren’t shown as this is seen as “down time” for the islanders, where they can relax and be off camera.

But even though meals aren’t filmed, Olivia Attwood – who came third with Chris Hughes in the 2017 series – insisted nothing juicy ever happens during them, as producers insist conversation is kept to a minimum.

Speaking to The Sun, she explained: “We eat with the producers but it runs like a boarding school.

“When we have dinner, it’s like them telling us we need to clean the bedroom, that laundry day is tomorrow and asking us what we want for our breakfast the next day, all just things that make the house run smoothly.

“So it’s nothing really exciting. It’s quite mundane stuff!”

    WHAT DO LOVE ISLANDERS EAT?

The Islanders make their own breakfast every morning – but lunch and dinner are a different matter.

A catering station is set up in the grounds of the villa with chefs on hand to make food – usually consisting of salads and barbecued meats – for the contestants, as well as all the production team.

In the Love Island villa, the outdoor kitchen is constantly restocked with snacks and drinks, ensuring the Islanders are never hungry or thirsty – and they can request what they want.

After coming off the show in 2019, Anton Danyluk confessed they’d been getting McDonald’s McFlurries delivered by producers on a weekly basis.

    HIDEAWAY SECRET

Former Love Islanders Siannese Fudge and Luke Trotman claim contestants are given sex toys in the hideaway to spice up their sleepovers.

While the hideaway is styled as a romantic private bedroom perfect for couples to get intimate, the reality is far less appealing.

Siannese said: “In the hideaway. Oh my gosh that was so scary wasn’t it.”

Luke added: “Yeah, it’s like silent and then camera, camera, camera, camera and then this red bed with loads of sex toys on it.”

The pair were runners-up in the first winter edition of the show last year. They’ve been inseparable ever since and fans have loved watching their fun social media videos.

    CALM BEFORE THE SCORE

Semi-pro footballer Toby Aromolaran explained how his life has changed since he joined his current team.

He said: “I’ve played football since I was about six, but it’s really come into a new light for the past year since I joined a team called Hashtag United.

“They’re very social media focused. Everything is on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. Playing with them has really made me fall in love with the game again.”

But, did you know Toby isn’t only footballer going into the villa?

Chloe Burrows revealed she used to play for Oxford City between the ages of 8 and 14.

However, she admitted: “I can’t do keepy uppies, not anymore.”

Will the two hit it off?

    SECRET LOVE

Love Island’s new girl Sharon Gaffka shocked her civil service colleagues by signing up for the sexiest show on TV.

The Sun exclusively revealed the Department for Transport operations manager was entering the famous villa this summer.

Sharon, 25, from Oxford, quit her job for Love Island, but caused a stir when she kept her employers in the dark about her glamorous career change.

A source told The Mirror: “It was surprising to see the Love Island line-up… plenty of eyebrows were raised.

“But everyone thinks the DfT is potholes and bus stops, so it’s great to see a former colleague bringing a bit of glamour to the Department for Transport.”

    SINGH-ER SHANNON

Shannon Singh loves singing and reportedly auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent when she was 11 years old.

But, she pulled out of the show after getting “scared”, according to the Daily Mail.

The former Glamour model said: “I went on Britain’s Got Talent and I got through, and I sang Alicia Key’s No One, bless me.”

“And I s*** out, I didn’t go on it, I got too scared.”

Following the reveal of this year’s Islanders, Shannon’s follower count stood at 171,000 – way ahead of the others.

The 24-year-old from Hampshire is a PE teacher and cricketer, who was born with club foot.

Explaining his condition, he said: “I was born with club foot. I had lots of operations when I was a kid. You can only really tell when I walk barefoot. I’ve got a really short achilles heel. I walk slightly on my tiptoes.”

The 22-year-old who hails from Fife also said she has turned down porn and naked shoots.

Speaking to the Who’s Your Daddy Podcast Shannon said: “I get so much s*** from Asian guys.

WHAT HAS ITV SAID ABOUT LOVE ISLAND’S RETURN?

In a statement, ITV said: “Love Island returns for its seventh sizzling series, as a host of new singletons seek to find their perfect match.

“Returning to ITV2, the Islanders must do their best to flirt, date, couple up and try and avoid being ‘dumped’.

ITV announced series 7 was being moved to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic in May last year.

So this long-awaited series is set to be a popular one with Love Island fans who have been deprived of the show for a year.

    SEX FACTOR

Love Island stars won’t just be taking a Covid test before allowed into the villa later this month – they’ll have to do an STD one too.

While the amount of bed-hopping and between-the-sheets action has dropped dramatically in recent series, bosses aren’t taking any chances.

Former Love Island star Marcel Somerville explained that the stars were screens for sexually transmitted disases.

Speaking about having sex in the villa, he told the Mirror: “It’s definitely down to the cast members.

“If you do want to do it then by all means do it. The show provides the necessary protection, so just be safe.

“The show does do strict testing beforehand just to make sure that everyone going on there is clean. They do quite a few tests to make sure you’re clean and safe.”

HOW LONG WILL THE SHOW LAST? (CONTINUED)

Speaking about Love Island’s cancellation last summer, Kevin Lygo, Director of Television at ITV told The Sun: “We have tried every way to make Love Island this summer.

“But logistically it’s just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the well-being of everyone involved and that for us is the priority.

“In normal circumstances we would be preparing very soon to travel out to the location in Mallorca to get the villa ready but clearly that’s now out of the question.

“We are very sorry for fans of the show but making it safe is our prime concern and Love Island will be back stronger than ever in 2021.”

HOW LONG IS LOVE ISLAND ON FOR?

It’s unclear at this stage how long this year’s Love Island will last for.

Previous series have dominated our TV screens for up to eight weeks of the summer.

A lot could hinge on the coronavirus pandemic, with a surge in cases – or an outbreak on set – causing the show to be stopped prematurely.

According to the Radio Times, the current series may last longer than usual because producers are concerned about a rise in Covid-19 cases over the winter.

ITV aim to do two series a year of the hit TV show but it’s not been on air for around 18 months due to the pandemic.

    SINGH-LE LIFE

Love Island’s Shannon Singh already has a string of celebrity admirers – catching the eye of Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner and a Hollywood action star.

Soap hunk Owen has been liking Shannon’s sexy snaps on Instagram for months.

What’s more, Desperate Housewives and Mortal Kombat star Mehcad Brooks has double tapped on her pics for almost two years.

The model and actor, 40, who played murderous Matthew Applewhite in Desperate Housewives, has littered her page with appreciative likes.

On one snap which she captioned in 2019: “Approved for date night?” the flirty actor – who previously modelled for Calvin Klein – typed back: “If this doesn’t work for date night, he don’t like women”.
