Love is Blind returned for a third outing earlier this month with a new bunch of singletons hopeful and looking for “the one”. The Netflix dating show was, as predicted, filled with drama, romance and rows, keeping subscribers hooked from the get-go. So when it came to the actual weddings, there were a couple of moments which no one expected.

It was clear from their first date that SK Alagbada and Raven Ross had a strong connection in Love is Blind season three.
Even when Bartise tried to hit on her at the pool party, Raven knew she only had eyes for her new fiancé.
When it came to walking down the aisle, subscribers felt as if they knew what was going to happen.
However, whereas Raven said yes to marrying SK, he turned her down, stating that there were “cultural differences” as well as the challenge of living in different states.
Despite not actually getting hitched in the show, they confirmed at the Love is Blind season three reunion that they were still dating.
This seemed to be a positive and slower step to take for the couple but relationship expert and co-founder of dating site
So Syncd Louella Alderson has questioned how “real” their romance is.
She explained to Express.co.uk: “They definitely had a strong connection on the show.
“But the reasons SK ended it with Raven haven’t changed. There are still cultural differences that were there and they still live in different states.
“So even though they have a strong connection, I don’t think it’s enough to overcome those big obstacles.”
Alderson continued: “It’s possible they could make it work long-distance, but it would be difficult.
“There is also scepticism around whether their relationship now is real.
“The couples that are married are likely to do the best out of the show.
“They usually have more fame, more public interest, and more sponsorship deals.
“So this rekindling of the relationship when the circumstances haven’t changed as far as we can see does raise a question about the genuineness of their connection.”

Since speaking to Express.co.uk, there has been a major development in SK and Raven’s relationship over the weekend.
SK and Raven have split up with the latter deleting all pictures of her ex-boyfriend from her social media.
The break-up follows allegations by two women claiming they had been romantically involved with him during his relationship with his fellow Love is Blind star.
They both posted the same statement on their TikTok accounts, mentioning “ongoing legal proceedings” but not explaining what this is in reference to.
The statement reads: “We are saddened to announce that we have decided to go our separate ways.
“Due to ongoing legal proceedings surrounding these allegations, we can not provide additional details and ask that you please respect our privacy during this hard time
“Thank you for following our love story and believing in us.
“This journey has forever shaped our lives and we are so grateful for everyone who has been a part of it. Your love and support means everything.”
Love is Blind is available to watch on Netflix.
