Lorraine reads out comments from viewer about her zebra dress
Lorraine, 61, was on hand once again to keep ITV viewers entertained with a selection of lifestyle segments, royal news and celebrity interviews. The television veteran opted to wear a salmon pink blouse to present the programme, with the image of zebras printed all over the fashion item. However, with the animals stacked on top of each other, this led some of those watching at home to comment on what they thought was quite a rude image.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Love #Lorraine, but have been distracted by the zebras on her shirt. Looks like they’re having a good time!”
Another added: “I hate daytime/morning TV but tell you what it’s worth having in the background for golden moments like someone calling into Lorraine to tell her the zebras on her shirt look like they’re f******.”
It was thanks to these comments on social media that the host then addressed the matter live on air for those who don’t follow her on the micro-blogging platform.
Looking at her phone, the mother-of-one said: “Thanks for all your messages this morning. Quite a few of you have been talking about my dress and the zebras.
“It does look like they’re having a good time. Amy, what a naughty mind you’ve got,” she continued as she addressed the Twitter post.

“Thank you to everyone who has pointed out the zebras are frolicking and romping,” the presenter said as she burst into hysterics.
Earlier this month, the presenter joked with guest Susan Calman, 46, about the fashion statements she makes on the show.
Towards the end of the interview, the former Strictly Come Dancing star said: “Thank you for everything you do, my darling.
“And thank you for putting on every day on your Instagram, what you’re wearing. This is the first time I’ve worn proper clothes in months.

“And I look at you every day and think, ‘One day I will wear proper clothes again like Lorraine,’” she jibed.
The host then replied: “Listen, this comes off right away and soon as I get home, it’s the grey tracksuit.
“It’s only for this one hour of the day I look like this,” Lorraine continued to joke.
However, recently, the television presenter hasn’t been sharing her fashionable attires with her 426,000 followers on Instagram.

Instead, her beloved pet dog Angus has been getting all the attention, with the 60-year-old recently sharing a throwback of them together.
Lorraine posted a video of her walking Angus as a puppy, writing: “Throwback to three years ago and our first walk with baby Angus – he’s so small. #puppy #cute #adorable #borderterrier #family #love.”
Taking to the social media platform, some of her loyal followers replied as one wrote: “Oh my God. Can’t wait to get our first walk with our wee border just got him he’s only eight weeks so a few weeks to go yet.”
Another added: “Aww look at baby Angus,” with a third avid fan of the presenter posted: “Aaaah he was so tiny!”
The mother-of-one has spoken about fashion many times, however, and has discussed the one piece of clothing she would never wear.
“Anything super short I couldn’t do it! In 2015, I had to get rid of my mini-kilt which was a shame,” she told HELLO!
“What I love about fashion, is you see things on the catwalk and have a good laugh at them,” the presenter continued.
“But little trends do come through which is really good – don’t be scared of that.”
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
