Loose Women's Nadia Sawalha slams Bodyguard in long rant

Bodyguard came to an end on Sunday, but one person who struggled to get on board with the series was Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha.

In today’s Loose Women episode (September 24), Nadia unleashed a long rant against the BBC drama, which she condemned for being confusing.

“I’d like to say – I’m going to be contentious, because I know the nation thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread – my husband and I review TV shows on our YouTube channel, so we watched the first episode,” she began. “It’s not something I’d normally watch, it was alright. But I don’t know if anyone else thinks this, but I think it’s just gotten worse and worse and worse.

“Excuse me, does anybody know what Trigger 18 is? Trigger 18? Trigger 18? Oh, RIPA 18.

“And there are a million questions left – were you not left utterly confused? And excuse me, what’s his name, Hongcroft, Rongcroft, Longcroft – what on earth was… we always saw [Longcross] in a corridor. How did he know to go back and open the ceiling, and why did he get sprayed with acid, and who told him where what’s-her-name lived?”

Ruth Langsford agreed with Nadia, replying: “I was thinking, ‘Is it me or am I just really thick?’ I had to keep rewinding going, ‘Who was that again?'”

And Jane Moore said: “Listen, if you want a better series, I think Trust is a fantastic series.”

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
