Loose Women’s Brenda Edwards reveals psychic’s message about late son Jamal years ago

Loose Women star Brenda Edwards has opened up about a message given to her by a clairvoyant about her son Jamal Edwards MBE, several years prior to the young star’s tragic death.

The music mogul died suddenly earlier this year in February, aged just 31 after suffering from a sudden heart attack.

On Tuesday’s edition of Loose Women, the West End star appeared alongside her fellow panellists Coleen Nolan, Linda Robson and Carol McGiffin as they discussed an encounter she had previously had with a psychic, while talking about whether they would ever want to meet their future selves.

The 53 year old recalled an experience from several years ago in which she’d had her crystals read during a trip to Brighton, with all of the predictions described as “very on point.”

Brenda told her co-stars: “She wanted to talk to me about what was going on in my life.

“As far as I’m concerned, they were very poignant and very relevant to things that were going on in my life.

“She did predict things that were going on in the future, such as, I didn’t think I was ill, but she did say something.

“She tried to take it back, but that culminated in my cancer. I thought I was fine, but she obviously saw something.”

She then continued, describing the moment the clairvoyant had shared a premonition about Jamal in the crystals as well.

Brenda said: “This was before I did Loose Women or anything like that, I wasn’t on this panel.

“She said something about Jamal, saying you’ve got a son who is helping other young people and I just said, I want to hear the rest of it.”

Brenda and Jamal's loved ones said goodbye to the young star in March as he was laid to rest, with the Loose Women star returning to the show in April with the full support of her co-stars.

Brenda Edwards made her return to the ITV show with her first televised interview since the tragic death of her son.

In the moving interview with her co-star Coleen Nolan, Brenda thanked the team for being there "at the end of the phone" and in person during the difficult time but revealed that she felt she "needed" to return to the show as it was a part of Jamal's life just as much as hers.

Brenda told Coleen: "It has been great having the ladies there and that is something which has been a big part of my life, and the kids' lives. I need to return. It's not even want to, I need to return."

She added: "I've missed everyone but I thank you for supporting me, and being there at the end of the phone with me."

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
