Loose Women star says she ‘looks evil’ in school throwback photo

It might not be Throwback Thursday quite yet, but Loose Women indulged in a bit of nostalgia as they looked back at old school photos.

And Janet Street-Porter and Ruth Langsford shocked the rest of the panelist with photos of themselves from their school days.

While debating whether fake tan should be banned in schools, Ruth explained that back when she was at school they were "so gawky looking".

Sharing a black and white photo on the screen, Ruth was seen with a short dark bob and a bright smile.

"Which one is you?" Janet asked. "The one with the dodgy hair grip?"

Ruth confirmed that she was the one on the right.

"That was the fashion we got was the kirby hair," she said. "No make-up or anything like that."

"Look at that smile," Janet awed as Ruth pointed out she was "covered in freckles".

"I look at the girls coming out of school now and they’re so glamorous!’ Ruth said.

But she was soon shocked when she saw a photo of Janet with huge glasses and hair pushed back.

"You might think I look nice but look at those eyes," Janet said. "Evil!"
