Loose Women will be recording without a studio audience forthe very first time following the outbreak of coronavirus.
Ticket site SRO Audiences claim the ITV daytime favourite iskeeping audiences away from the studio for now.
‘We do not know when audiences will return to the show,’ astatement on the site reads.
‘But the dates on which the show will take place are stillon the website and you may add yourself to the waiting list so that, ifaudiences are admitted back to the show on that date, we can contact you to letyou know.’
Today’s show sees Kerry Katona talk to the panel as well asMasterChef hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
Numerous television programmes have been cancelled or postponed altogether.
Over the weekend, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Live went ahead as normal with its studio packed with fans.
The duo has vowed to keep millions ‘smiling’ and continuing to film until restrictions are put in place.
A spokesperson for the show told Variety: ‘Our priority is the well-being and safety of all our people and everyone who works with us on our shows and across our business.
‘We are in a developing and dynamic situation so we’re complying with the guidance from Public Health England and the World Health Organization to make sure we keep everyone as safe and secure as possible.’
They added: ‘All of our audience-handling agencies are sharing the updated advice from the NHS site with audiences prior to attending our shows and we continue to work with them to update advice as and when it changes.’
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
