Lindsay Lohan will be back for Disney's Life-Size 2 after all, according to Tyra Banks

When the cast of Disney’s long-awaited Life-Size 2 was announced over the summer, there was one original star missing that majorly disappointed fans.

Tyra Banks is definitely coming back — but Lindsay Lohan was nowhere to be found, probably because she’s busy dancing with reckless abandon on the set of her MTV reality series.

Instead, Grown-ish star Francia Raisa was cast as Grace Manning, the “hot mess” new CEO of the toy company that originally manufactured the Eve doll in the first movie.

But in a new chat with The Hollywood Reporter, Tyra hinted that there’s still hope for Lindsay to be involved with Life-Size 2 at least in some small way.

“She has this new TV show on MTV about this club so she couldn’t make it,” Tyra explained. “She will be in the movie in some kind of way. We’ll see where that ends up.”

Whether Lindsay turns up or not, Tyra seems confident that diehard Life-Size fans will love her new co-star Francia Raisa.

“We went to a spa together before we started shooting and that really bonded us,” Banks said. “That girl can act, it’s in her eyes.”

Life-Size 2 is expected to air in time for Christmas on Freeform in the US, with Black Mirror‘s Gavin Stenhouse, Hannah Montana star Shanica Knowles and Jane the Virgin‘s Alison Fernandez also starring.

Lindsay Lohan’s reality series is set to premiere on MTV next year.
