You guys, Tyra Banks just revealed some pretty huge news about the Life-Size sequel that’s in the works. And yes, we know what you’re wondering and it definitely has to do with her former co-star, Lindsay Lohan.
As you all know, the original Life-Size premiered in 2000 on ABC’s The Wonderful World of Disney. Now, 18 years later, a sequel is finally in the works. A while ago, it was revealed by a rep that Lindsay wasn’t set to appear in the sequel “due to her production schedule for her new reality show.” Obviously, that was a HUGE bummer for fans of the original film… but all of that is about to change.
Tyra actually told The Hollywood Reporter recently that Linds will be in the film. “[Lindsay] will be in the movie in some kind of way… We’ll see where that ends up.” So, what does that mean exactly?! Maybe Lindsay won’t have a huge role in Life-Size 2, but, hey, any kind of OG reunion is a good one, right??
Anyway, aside from this news, the 44-year-old is extremely excited for the sequel, which is set to premiere in December during Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas. Tyra said, “I actually think we are going to surpass expectations because, [for] me, as a producer and actor in it, it surpassed my own expectations.”
So far, we know that Life-Size 2 will follow Grace Manning, played by Francia Raísa, as the “confident and funny” CEO of her mother’s company Marathon Toys (which is known for manufacturing the iconic Eve doll). Though she holds the power position, Raísa is “a hot mess in the middle of her quarter-life crisis” whose “wild-child ways are causing the company’s stock to plummet” — something Eve will surely help fix.
We are counting down the days because we cannot wait!
