Last ever Big Brother winner revealed in emotional final

Cameron Cole has been announced as the last ever winner of Big Brother .

The 19-year-old from Norwich won the Channel 5 show during an incredibly emotional final.

Meanwhile Akeem Griffiths, 26, came runner-up and narrowly missed out on winning £100,000.

Despite that, Akeem said that he was incredibly happy that the teen won and said that he deserved it.

Tonight, the reality TV show aired for the last time after an 18-year run – leaving host Emma Willis in tears.

The reality TV show first aired on Channel 4 in 2000 and instantly became a ratings hit. After airing for eleven series the show ended on the channel in 2010 after Ultimate Big Brother, which featured a number of the show’s most iconic stars.

It was initially presented by Davina McCall, who decided not to return when the show moved to Channel 5 in 2011. Former winner Brian Dowling took over for the twelfth and thirteenth series before later being replaced by Emma Wills.

Ahead of the last ever episode airing tonight, presenter Emma Willis shared a snap of her final read-through script on Instagram and commented: "Goodbye my friend…."
