After a fair few months of heavy hitting Coronation Street storylines – including a car crash, being held hostage by Phelan on her wedding day, reacting to Aidan’s death, and her biological son Ali coming back into her life, just to name a few – it looks like Michelle Connor has got a relative period of peace and quiet ahead of her.
While some actors might enjoy a bit of downtime after having to flex their acting muscles so much, Michelle’s actress Kym Marsh isn’t over the moon about it.
Writing in her OK! Magazine column, the star said: “I’m very quiet at work and that’s a shame as I’d rather be busy to take my mind off missing [boyfriend Scott, who is a major in the Parachute Regiment].
“It’ll all be fine though as we’re in a good place – it’s just part of his life.“
Kym confirmed her relationship with Scott back in July, after splitting from her former partner Matt Baker in April.
The actress has also recently signed a new Corrie contract, meaning she will be on our screens for some time – and Michelle will probably get some juicier stories soon, too.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
