Kirk Douglas, 101, and wife Anne Buydens, 99, remain inseparable after 64 years of marriage as they are pushed along in wheelchairs

The Spartacus legend and his wife were pictured side-by-side being pushed along in wheelchairs by their carers.

The couple, who married in 1954, have a combined age of 200 but they are still getting out and about together.

The Hollywood veteran Kirk looked smart in a shirt, trousers and loafers teamed with some designer sunglasses as he enjoyed some time outdoors with Anne.

She is Kirk's second wife – they tied the knot following his divorce from Diana Dill in 1951.

Diana was the mother of Kirk's two children – actor Michael Douglas and producer Joel.

Despite approaching his 102nd birthday in December, Michael Douglas revealed the screen star still keeps fit.

During a chat with Lorraine Kelly, Michael explained: "He still has a trainer. He works out with a trainer at 101.

"I remember when Dad was 90 and he had a guy that he worked out with for more than 30 years, 40 years, Mike Abrams.

"I went to see Dad one day, he was 90 and wasn’t feeling so good.

"I said, 'Dad, what’s wrong? You don’t look good.' He said, 'Ah, Mike died.' I said, 'Ah Dad I’m so sorry, Mike died?

"How old was Mike, Dad?' '94'."
