Kim Kardashian’s ex Ray J reveals he’s in talks to appear on Strictly Come Dancing

The singer exclusively told us that he's already had talks with the big bosses on the show.

Ray, 37,  – born William Ray Norwood Jr – told us that he wants to take part in the BBC show after meeting the show's casting director.

His famous ex Kim Kardashian famously appeared on the US version of the show in 2008 but was given the boot after just three weeks.

The R&B crooner told us: "I definitely want to do Strictly Come Dancing.

"I talked to one of the producers, I think the head lady there.

"I threw out a bunch of ideas and she liked it and then I went back to the States."

He added: "I don’t know what happened but now that I’m here, I would definitely do that."

And it's not just Strictly that he's set his sights on, Ray is also eyeing up featuring on The Hills remake.

The Love & Hip Hop star hinted that we could be seeing a cameo of him on the reboot of the MTV reality show.

He teased: "You might even see Ray J in The Hills" before adding that he's "excited" about its return to our screens.

Ray became friends with The Hills original cast Heidi and Spencer Pratt after their stint on Celebrity Big Brother last year.

And the unlikely trio are such good friends that daughter Melody has even enjoyed play-dates with the Pratt's tot Gunner.

He explained: "They’re some of our close friends. My wife talks to Heidi all the time and Spencer is my brother."

Before adding: "They’re really just cool people – I love them

"I went to his baby's first birthday party. I love those two."

And there could even be a future union on the cards between his five-month old daughter and one-year-old Gunner.

He revealed: "He went crazy when he saw her, and I was like hold on Gunner, I know you’re one years old, but hold on."

And fans would no doubt get excited by the prospect of seeing the singer on-screen alongside ex Kim's step-brother Brody Jenner – who's been confirmed to return for The Hills reboot.

Despite both living the A-list lifestyle in LA, Ray says he's "never bumped into" sex tape partner Kim, but his famous singer sister Brandy is "really cool with" Kim's husband Kanye West.

But as the title of his latest album Rayformation indicates, the Sexy Can I singer is a reformed man since his previous partyboy ways.

During his chat with The Sun Online, he insisted marrying his wife and Love & Hip Hop co-star Princess Love has changed who he is.

Speaking about their 2016 "traditional, big wedding" – which even featured their Maltese dogs walking down the aisle – he said:

"It was a really emotional day for me, but it was really sexy and classy too.

"And something that will remain as the best day of my life – apart from my baby being born."

He explained he "wanted to get married because I really started to change my life around in my

relationship and do the right thing as a man."

And the birth of their firstborn Melody in May has given him a newfound respect for women.

He said: " After having the baby my respect level for just women in general went through the roof

"For her to sit there in labour for 28-hours and then have to have a c-section to get the baby out

"Just watching that whole process and what she was going through really just changed my outlook on her life and just people in general."

And now he feels he's in a position to pass on his wisdom to others:

"Men like us who live on the edge and had this player life – and for even some that still do – we gotta respect women – we gotta understand that their position here is much bigger than what we might give them."

The self-professed London-lover may even be moving his family unit across the pond.

Ray revealed that he wants "to move here eventually when it's right."

And so strong is their love of London that wife Princess "wanted to name the baby London" but they decided against it in the end as they know "too many babies named London."

The singer had a taste of the city when he starred in last year's Celeb Big Brother.

But his time was cut short due to problems with his teeth and he feels that he has "unfinished business to do in the house."

So desperate is he to return that he told his team he: "Could make a hundred billion dollars tomorrow and I've still got to get back on Big Brother and finish business."

Ray is adamant that "whatever happened behind the scenes, we need to clear that up so I can get back on the show." Someone better tell him it's been cancelled.

Ray J's new single Right On Time feat. Flo Rida is out now.
