Kendall Jenner Says We "Have No Idea What's Coming" in the Kardashians' New Hulu Show

It feels weird to say the Kardashians are coming back because TBH, it doesn’t actually feel like they ever left. Thanks to Instagram and Snapchat, we all kept keeping up with the Kardashians (and Jenners) after their flagship E! reality show, ” data-vars-ga-product-id=”bf1c363b-946c-4ca9-9dce-b7f9847e297b” data-vars-ga-product-price=”0.00″ data-vars-ga-product-sem3-brand=”” data-vars-ga-product-sem3-category=”” data-vars-ga-product-sem3-id=”” data-affiliate-network=”” data-affiliate=”true”>Keeping Up With the Kardashians, ended its 20-season run in June. But if you prefer your Kardashian Kontent in the form of slick, glossy, expertly produced episodes of television, you’ll want to check out their new project with Hulu. Here’s everything we know about the new Kardashian x Hulu TV show so far.

What is the Kardashians’ Hulu show called?

Obviously, Keeping Up With the Kardashians was an awesomely clever and instantly iconic title. For their Hulu series, the fam is keeping things very simple and minimalist in the name department, simply calling the new show The Kardashians.

When does The Kardashians premiere on Hulu?

On New Year’s Eve, Hulu dropped the first teaser trailer for the Kardashians’ new show and revealed it will premiere sometime in 2022. We’re still collectively waiting on the Hulu gods to narrow down that time frame a bit though.

FWIW, last fall, Khloé teased the new show during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, confirming that the family was filming at the time (October 2021) and expected the series to premiere in early 2022.

“I think in a few months, either end of January, early February…really fast, so that’s the beauty of Hulu,” she said. “We’re streaming so we get to have a much quicker turnaround than previously. We’re really excited.”

Who will be on The Kardashians on Hulu?

When the Kardashians’ deal with Hulu was announced in December 2020, Disney (which owns a majority stake in Hulu) confirmed that Kris Jenner and all five of her daughters—Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner—were signed on for the new show. Some other members of the Kardashian inner circle have also been confirmed (like Scott Disick, who is reportedly making bank to appear), while others are still up in the air (like Travis Barker and Kanye West—although Kim has given us all hope that Travis will appear).

What will The Kardashians on Hulu be about?

It’s going to be kind of like KUWTK but not exactly the same. The family has final say over the edit on the Hulu series, so it will fully reflect the version of their narrative they want to share with the world. Kim has said the new series will show a “different side” of the famous family and will also feature more about her professional life and legal studies.

“I think it will be a different side,” she told WSJ. magazine in October 2021. “But I wouldn’t say that our silly sides are not going to come out.”

Meanwhile, during a Disney Upfronts event after the news of the family’s new deal with Hulu broke, Kris hinted that if you were one of the people who was deeply invested in the Kardashians’ saga during the KUWTK days, the new series won’t disappoint and will definitely be a continuation of their story.

“This is the next chapter,” she teased (per People). “In the new show, you’ll see us evolving as a family. Fans want us to be who we are, and since moment one, they’ve been emotionally invested in our show, just like we are. The fans will love seeing us continue the journey. I can’t say much about what’s coming, but spoiler, we’re going to look fabulous and everyone’s going to watch.”

In February, Hulu dropped a teaser trailer for the series that contained a few buzzwords/clues about that hint at what the show will focus on: Glamour. Power. Fame. Family. Oh, and, according to Kendall, at least, we “have no idea what’s coming” in the series. So there’s that.
