The mum-of-five has faced a turbulent few months as she battles divorce, bankruptcy and a stint in rehab.
But today she wishes her fans a "Happy Halloween from me and the kids" after posting for the first time in almost two months.
It's unclear whether this was a throwback picture or Katie is spending time with her youngest children Jett and Bunny after splitting with their dad Kieran Hayler.
She then posted two more pictures; one with her terminally ill mum Amy with her grandchildren and a drawing by Harvey.
She wrote: "Harvey has drawn me a black cat for Halloween on his iPad." Then added: "What it’s all about."
Her eldest kids Junior and Princess have moved back with her first husband Peter Andre while Katie gets help at The Priory.
They'll be staying with Pete this evening to trick or treat with the family.
Fans were delighted by her return to Instagram this morning.
One said: "Happy Halloween Katie.. glad to see you back.. hope your well xx."
Another added: "Doesn't she look cute. keep strong Katie big hugs."
Someone else said: "Happy Halloween Katie keep your chin up! X"
Katie checked in at the famous rehab centre for A-listers following booze and drug binges as she battles PTSD.
Yesterday the 40-year-old narrowly avoided bankruptcy again after submitting a last-gasp proposal to rescue her finances.
