KATIE Price and ex-fiancé Carl Woods are in race to remove tattoos of each other's faces after their bitter split.
The former couple separated last month after Carl, 32, accused Katie, 43, of cheating on him.
She also messaged her ex Kris Boyson from teen daughter Princess's Instagram account – but the personal trainer didn't respond.
Any reconciliation now looks unlikely as the pair set about erasing tribute tattoos from their skin.
A source told The Sun: "Katie and Carl are both looking at options to cover up their inkings – it's not ideal to be looking at your exes' face all the time after a split.
"Katie can be impulsive and would be happy with anything to cover up her tattoo of Carl but he's keen to get something that looks good. It's basically a race to see who can do it first."

The Sun has contacted reps for Katie and Carl for comment.
Carl has not one but three inkings of Katie on his body while Katie has Carl's face on her forearm.
Impulsive Katie previously honoured past relationships with first husband Peter Andre and toyboy Leandro Penna.
She had Pete's name tattooed on her wrist and the Argentinian's name and the date they met inked on her ankle.

The 43-year-old and car dealer Carl had intended to marry and start a family.
But their shock split has put a spanner in the works for Katie's dream to have baby number six.
Friends claim that Carl Woods accused his former girlfriend of messaging someone else on WhatsApp behind his back.
“Carl was furious and was accusing Katie of all kinds of things,” said the pal. “He was ranting about loyalty and saying he’d found out exactly how she was hiding the messages from him.”
The Sun On Sunday revealed the split – which happened last week – was because car dealer Carl was convinced Katie was cheating on him.

The source added: “Carl believes Katie went behind his back with another man.
"He lashed out in a series of texts and accused her of lying to him and using her pals to hide the phone number of the man he thinks she’s been seeing.
“He branded her ‘a cheat and a player’ and told her he has had enough.”
