KATIE Price admitted she always kept "a backup man" on the side after ex husband Kieran Hayler cheated on her.
The reality star, 42, said she was left heartbroken by her ex-husband's infidelity and then found it too hard to trust other men.
Katie admitted to keeping other men's numbers in case her heart was broken again – but it's different this time with current boyfriend Carl Woods.
"If I'd met [Carl] a couple of years ago it probably wouldn't have worked anyway because I believed that every man cheats on me.
"I've always made sure in the past – well, since Kieran – that I have an option because I've been cheated on so bad.
"These options aren't sexual options, its about the attention and the neediness of wanting to feel wanted," the star told Mirror Online.
Katie's ex Kieran cheated on Katie with her two friends: Jane Pountney and Chrissy Thomas.
Katie says the couple have taken precautions with each other to make sure the trust stays, including having access to one another's Instagram accounts.
She continued: "Whereas now, there's no options. I've got a new number, we've both got our Instagram set up on each other's phones, he's got my passcode.
"He can see anything, he'll answer it and read my messages if I need him to."
This comes after her ex Kris Boyson made a series of explosive claims about Katie and threatened he "could destroy her career".
The 31-year-old personal trainer took to Instagram to respond to the 42-year-old after she accused him of "using her for fame".
Kris was left fuming by the comments and claimed that she was sleeping with three other people when they were together.
He also said that he was looking after her children "all weekend" while she cheated on him with Charles Drury – also insisting that her children's dads, Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler, had acknowledged in the past how much he did for the kids.
The Sun Online exclusively revealed in July that Katie and Carl have been dating since June after a mutual friend set them up.
The pair recently got tattoos of each other's faces on their arms as proof of their commitment to one another.
Speaking of the tattoos, Katie told The Sun Online: "No matter what the haters say, this is proof we'll be together forever. I'm so happy to have this commitment to him."
Carl said: "This is more than a tattoo – it's a tribute to each other."
An insider told us about the tattoos: "If anyone doubted their relationship, this is proof that they're committed to each other."
