Before his surprise cameo in Loki, Jonathan Majors was cast as Kang the Conqueror in the MCU. The 31-year-old rising star will play the time-travelling villain in 2023’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. But between portraying He Who Remains and starring in the Paul Rudd threequel, we’re expecting Kang and his variants to be popping up all over the place going forwards.
After all, as a threat to the sacred timeline and multiverse, Kang is an even bigger and more powerful threat to the Avengers than Thanos.
And now We Got This Covered’s sources, the same ones who shared that Captain America 4 was in the works long before major industry outlets, says that Majors’ villain is set to appear in at least six upcoming Marvel movies and TV shows.
But which one will they be? Well Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the only one confirmed so far.
However, seeing him feature in Loki Season 2 seems pretty likely considering the cliffhanger of the first in which his statue was present in the TVA – thus implying he now rules it.
As for what else, well there’s a couple of multiverse-exploring movies on the way.
Spider-Man No Way Home is heavily rumoured to feature Peter Parker variants played by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
While Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is written by Michael Waldron who penned the Loki TV show.
Considering Sylvie slaughtering He Who Remains unleashed said multiverse madness, this movie is a prime suspect for a Kang appearance.

Then there’s Thor Love and Thunder which sees Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster play The Mighty Thor opposite Chris Hemsworth.
Given she could be a Thor variant, perhaps Kang will show up in some form in the Taika Waititi movie.
And let’s not forget that the MCU’s version of the Fantastic Four is one the way. The superhero team have clashed prominently with the time travel villain in Marvel Comics.
Kang, whose real name is Nathaniel Richards, has quite the connection to them since it’s implied he’s a descent of both Reed Richards (Mr Fantastic) and Doctor Victor von Doom.

In the comics, Nathaniel was born in the 31st century and is bored of life in the future.
So he recreates Doom’s time machine to go back to the past and rule previous generations as Kang the Conqueror.
Over the years, the despot and his variants have taken on various different aliases.
There’s the Pharaoh Rama-Tut, an older self-called Immortus (who He Who Remains may be based on) and a good kid version of the Young Avengers called Iron Lad.
