Growing event cinema specialist Trafalgar Releasing is to give a one night North American release to tribute concert Joni 75: A Birthday Celebration, featuring musicians Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Kris Kristofferson, Chaka Khan, Seal, James Taylor, and Rufus Wainwright.
The theatrical release of the concert, which originally took place at LA’s The Music Center in November last year, is set for February 7. The artists preformed a number of Mitchell’s songs including A Case of You; Both Sides, Now; Down To You; For The Roses; The Boho Dance; and Two Grey Rooms.
“We are thrilled to bring audiences together in movie theaters across North America to experience this magical evening,” said Trafalgar Releasing SVP of Programming Kymberli Frueh. “The incredible talent featured in this concert is a true testament to the impact that Joni has had on musicians and fans alike.”
