John Travolta and daughter Ella recreate famous dance from his hit movie Grease for the Super Bowl

JOHN Travolta put on his dancing shoes to recreate some of his famous dance moves from the hit movie Grease, alongside daughter Ella, 20.

The father and daughter duo filmed the sequence for a new Super Bowl ad, which debuted ahead of the highly anticipated game against the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Dancing to promote Scotts & Miracle-Gro, the short clip shows John, 66, busting out the steps to the 1978 film’s iconic song “You're The One That I Want".

The Pulp Fiction actor didn’t forget one shimmy as he and his stunning daughter Ella danced to the music.

Before starting the routine, the ad showed John trying and failing to set up a selfie stick to capture the dance moves.

Pretending to sound exasperated, Ella is heard telling her father: “Dad, it's the red one… the other red one.”

To which he replies: “I know.”

Dancing duo John and Ella even made sure to coordinate their outfits for the sketch, with the Saturday Night Fever star wearing a fitted black jacket paired with a matching t-shirt and blue denim pants.

Matching her pops in a black denim jacket, Ella wore it over a pretty floral dress and sneakers.

John and his children Ella, 20, and Ben, 10, are still coming to terms with the loss of their beloved wife and mom Kelly Preston, who passed away in July last year.

The actress, who died following a two-year battle with breast cancer, was just 57 when she lost her life.

John announced Kelly's death in an Instagram post, writing: "It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many."

He later shared a video of himself dancing with his daughter Ella, 20, to honor his late wife captioned: "My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma. One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me."

Earlier this month, he celebrated Kelly's birthday by sharing a photo of the couple on their wedding day, as well as a picture of his parents tying the knot.

John captioned the touching tribute: "Happy Birthday hon! I found this photo of my mom and dad‘s wedding. It was nice to see ours alongside theirs. All my love, John."
