John Barrowman's been 'on the verge of losing it' with Noel Edmonds multiple times on I'm A Celeb, his parents reveal

The I'm A Celebrity star's parents, who have touched down in Australia with his husband Scott Gill, also said on Good Morning Britain they weren't surprised he refused to pick up his female camp mates' knickers.

Since the Deal Or No Deal presenter, 69, arrived late to the jungle, he has clashed with John, 51, and also fought with their camp mate Nick Knowles, 56.

Speaking to hosts Kate Garraway, 51, and Ben Shepherd, 43, the star's parents John and Marion and husband Scott revealed they have watched tensions rise between the two camp mates.

His dad said: "We've been watching it since the beginning, and there's occasions when he's been on the verge with Noel especially.

"But he's controlled himself the way his mother taught him to be a good boy."

Kate also asked about 'knickergate' where John joined Noel in refusing to pick up the female camp mates' underwear.

Marion said: "I don't think he would bother to pick up someone's knickers. No way. he' washed mine."

John Snr. added: "He does do washing!"

Scott explained: "We go to the bathroom in front of each other. He's not that uptight about knickers."

It comes as the family members of other camp mates touches down in Australia.

Emily Atack's mum revealed she was enjoying some late-night drinks with Harry Redknapp's wife Sandra last night.
