John Barrowman might be having a time of it Down Under at the moment, but in just a few days time he’ll be making his triumphant return to the Arrowverse.
Ahead of the hotly-anticipated Elseworlds crossover event, Arrow has revealed a sneak-peek of the villainous Malcolm Merlyn as he graces Earth-38 with his presence.
As well as a series of tantalising stills, the Elseworlds crossover has also released synopses of the three-episode spectacular (via TVLine).
Episode one will kick things off when The Flash‘s Barry Allen and Arrow‘s Oliver Queen wake up to discover that they’ve swapped bodies due to a disturbance in the timeline.
When Team Flash doesn’t believe it, the two travel to Smallville to enlist the help of Supergirl, where they just so happen to meet Kara’s cousin, Clark Kent and Lois Lane.
Part two will see the trio take a trip to Gotham City, where they meet the mysterious new character Kate Kane – aka Ruby Rose’s Batwoman.
Finally, in a climax to end all climaxes, ‘Elseworlds, Part 3’ will see Supergirl, The Flash, Green Arrow and Superman “engage in the battle of their lives”.
We’re exhausted just thinking about it.
The Elseworlds crossover starts with The Flash on Sunday, December 9 at 8pm ET, followed by Arrow on Monday, December 10 at 8pm ET and Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11 at 8pm ET, all on The CW in the US. Sky One airs all three series in the UK.
