Jeremy Kyle guest says cold hands led to lie detector fail then gets STI results

A Jeremy Kyle has produced the most ridiculous excuse for a lie detector fail in the history of the show.

Stunned Jeremy said it was a "first in 14 years" as Carl came up with some bizarre reasons for being exposed as a liar.

On yesterday’s show he swore on his nan’s grave that he was telling the truth despite the results confirming he was lying.

He came back on today’s show with partner Hazel, who wanted to know if he had given her an STI because she had "symptoms".

Carl confessed to Jeremy that a woman had touched his genitals over his trousers but insisted it was before he met Hazel.

He insisted he only failed because he was innocently thinking of this moment while hooked up to the machine.

Disputing the results, Carl said: "How can my skin tell someone I’m a liar? I’ve got arthritis, broken fingers, my skin is cold all the time."

Dumbstruck Jeremy could not believe what he was hearing as he tried to get to the bottom of the situation.

Summing up, the presenter said: "This is a first in 14 years. You are saying you’ve always been faithful to Hazel. You failed the lie detector on the Jeremy Kyle show not because you cheated but in the test you had arthritis, cold hands, broken fingers, your skin, your circulation, the colour of the wallpaper.

"But more importantly you made the mistake of thinking about this woman touching your groin which wasn’t reciprocated."

Jeremy claimed the situation was "farcical" – and it got even worse.

They then spoke to the doctor to find out if Carl or Hazel had an STI.

"Lets hope he’s not passed on anything apart from his BS," joked Jeremy.

It turned out neither of them had Chlamydia or Gonorrhea – it was Thrush.

Jeremy Kyle viewers flocked to Twitter after getting fed up of the excuses.

One viewer said: "Christ this bloke is full of more s*** than my toilet after a curry!!!"

"He doesn’t even remember his stories," added another.

A third said: "This guy doesn’t need a shovel, his digging a bigger enough hole ALL BY HIMSELF"
