The 30-year-old star shared the photo with his 684,000 followers on Instagram and confessed that he looked young after shaving off his beard.
He said: "Made it to the gym on a Sunday… and I know I look about 12 now I had a shave and I actually like it."
The star's feed was instantly littered with aubergine emojis, as one fan said: "I'm not sure many people will be checking out your face."
Another joked: "I did notice he had a big…. towel" as many more begged: "Can you accidentally drop the towel please?"
And another filthy-minded fan wrote: "Forget about the beard it looks like your pleased to see me."
The X Factor star recently revealed a bizarre admirer has made 10 different social media accounts to beg him to send his dirty gym clothes.
Jake made the surprising confession as he met London Zoo's adorable rainforest monkeys for The Sun's new feature Celebs Gone Wild back in August.
Asked to name the most wild fan request he's ever received, Jake said in the video – which is also on Dan Wootton's Facebook page: "I keep getting this same person – and they keep making different Twitter accounts because I keep blocking them – asking me to send them a pair of my used underwear after I've been to the gym.
"And if they smelt me after the gym they would not be asking for that stuff. I don't know why they're asking for it.
"[They've asked] about 10 times now, they've even offered to pay. At one point I was thinking, 'If you pay me £200 I probably will send it'. But that's pretty weird, asking for my gym boxers."
Jake also opened up about his triumphant stint on Dancing on Ice, revealing bosses hid major accidents and injuries from viewers.
On the show's most wild behind the scenes moments, he revealed: "There was a lot of injuries that you didn't see. There was a lot of bad falls and stuff like that, but I think we did well."
He added: "The wrap party got pretty crazy. Cheryl Baker's an absolute hoot. She can drink anyone under the table."
Serial reality TV contestant Jake revealed he wants to go back to the jungle after his I'm a Celebrity stint by signing up to The Island with Bear Grylls.
He said: "I'd have a group of monkeys chilling, full blown Mowgli. I'd like to think I'd be good.
"I'd probably eat something I wasn't supposed to though and be dead in two hours. I do like being outdoors and I love testing myself."
