Jade Goody's bridesmaid reveals she heard her 'screaming in agony' as she had to tell her sons she was going to die

JADE Goody's bridesmaid has revealed she heard her "screaming" in anguish when she had to tell her sons that she was going to die.

Her two boys, Bobby and Freddie, were just five and four years old when their mum passed away from cervical cancer.

Jade's five best friends, who were bridesmaids at her wedding to Jack Tweed, appeared on Loose Women today to mark the tenth anniversary of her death and wept after they watched a video montage of the months leading up to her death.

Host Saira Khan was crying as she listened to their story and asked how Jade approached the terrifying subject of dying with her kids.

Her pal Charlene revealed that Jade was a pillar of strength for her loved ones and often comforted them as she told them of her terminal diagnosis.

But she admitted the brave star was unable to control her emotions when it came to breaking the news to her beloved boys.

Charlene said: "I saw her tell a lot of people (she was going to die) and she comforted her grandad, her mum, and her friends.

"The only time I saw her lose it was then. That was the only time you could hear her screaming.

"She tried to tell them in her own way, she tried a few times. It was awful."

Another friend added: "We had to take the kids away from the noise."

Jade eventually managed to explain to her boys that she was going to heaven to be with angels.

The women helped to organise Jade's wedding and told how the day was a happy occasion, but that Jade begged for a "miracle" in her wedding speech.

They told how the Big Brother star appeared full of life on her wedding day, but her health declined soon after.

Charlene added: "It was bittersweet because from the start to the end, you are just looking at Jack and it was devastating.

"You go to a wedding, you see they've got their life ahead of them, to know for him it was weeks away until her death."

But they recalled the joy at spending their final few weeks with their friend organising her big day and how happy it made her being a "bridezilla".

One pal said: "She was a bridezilla. We all had our jobs, our phones were going off. She said to me, 'You need to have a week off work.' She said, 'tell your boss, let me speak to him'.

"She was one of those friends that gave you that belly laugh, she was extremely loyal, very generous. You always knew you were going to have a good time with Jade. It was never a boring time."
