Love Island star Jack appeared at Boxing with the Stars at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Friday night.
But just 24 hours earlier he and Dani, who he met on his reality show, disappointed fans when they did not show up for their PA.
Dani and Jack angered event organisers by cancelling a meet and greet last minute – stating they were both too ill to attend.
But insiders claim the Love Island pair pulled a sickie after suffering from a hangover following Dani’s In The Style launch party that took place the night before.
Jack and Dani were booked as guest stars at Student Sessions at the Bullring and Grand Central shopping centre in Birmingham on Thursday but dropped out hours before – leaving queues of fans disappointed.
A source said: “They were due at the event for 6:30pm and only let organisers know they weren’t going to attend at 3:30pm.
“Fans were already queuing to meet them and were incredibly disappointed to go home without seeing their favourite Love Island stars.
“Organisers weren’t entirely convinced by Dani and Jack’s excuse of being ill – they believe the couple were hungover after a heavy night.”
A spokeswoman for Bullring & Grand Central told The Sun: "We were sad to hear that Jack and Dani were unable to join us for Student Sessions at Bullring & Grand Central last night.
"However the event was a great success and we are looking forward to offering shoppers more events like this next year."
Dani was joined by a host of her fellow Love Island stars at her collection launch party, including Doctor Alex, Samira Mighty and Georgia Steel.
The group partied until the early hours at London club Mahiki – with many of the stars appearing slightly worse for wear on their Instagram stories.
At the event Danny did his best to embarrass his famous daughter by saying to the crowd: "Who loves Dani Dyer?
"It's incredible to think that me and my wife, we made her and the thing is it only took two minutes."
Quickly backtracking on the statement he said: "Nah, quarter of an hour."
