Jack Fincham admits romance with Dani Dyer is under strain following series of rows

A month after The Sun revealed the Love Island champs were going through a rocky patch Jack has confirmed there have been problems between them for weeks.

Despite their difficulties Jack, 26, is still confident his romance with Dani, 22, will outlast former winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, who announced their split on December 4 last year.

Speaking for the first time about their struggles for The Sun's Big Interview, he said: “We do have arguments but people can’t think the world is going to end because we’ve had a row. It’s a normal thing having an argument.

“Filming the show wasn’t easy. It was tough, it was intense – you’re on camera most days of the week all day long.

“We had bickers during filming just like any other couple. I got emotional with Dani doing it; I even had a couple of tear ups. But Dani and I got through it.”

The reality star insists their show Jack and Dani: Life After Love Island will be nothing like Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood’s series, which was full of fiery rows.

Instead he hopes the three episodes on ITVBe will remind viewers they’re just like any other couple.

He said: “Most shows like this are about arguments and drama but ours is a nice story, it is about two people that love each other.

“Dani and I have a really normal relationship; we both go to work, like our takeaways and sitting at home. It doesn’t feel like we met on Love Island at all – we sometimes have to remind each other.

“It’s definitely nothing like Chris and Olivia’s show, they just didn’t like each other.”

Jack, who admitted on Love Island to cheating on every one of his previous girlfriends, says he is yet to receive any unwanted attention from other girls.

He may have amassed 2.6million Instagram followers as a result of his newfound fame but Jack insists the only time women slide into his DMs is when they’re worried there’s an issue between him and Dani.

Even during club appearances Jack says the majority of fans waiting to meet him are blokes keen to shake his hand for being welcomed into the Dyer household.

He said: “Everyone knows I’m with Dani. I’m a no go zone, everyone knows we’re together.

“I’ve not had girls come onto me. I get people messaging me but only about Dani.

“If I don’t post a picture about Dani and me for a day I get so many girls asking ‘Are you still with Dani?’ That’s all I get. I get people checking we’re okay. It’s like having millions of counsellors.”

Since winning Love Island Jack has starred alongside Danny Dyer on shows like Celebrity Juice, with the pair seeming as though they get on well as friends.

They've also appeared on the red carpet together, as well as with Dani at the launch of her In The Style range.

And Jack has revealed that he can turn to the EastEnders actor, 41, in times of need and feels they have bonded over their similar upbringings.

He said: “Our relationship is really good, we get on well.

“Danny and I are quite similar, we have the same views. I’m guessing because we come from similar backgrounds, they’re from Canning Town I’m from Abbey Wood, trust me they’re very similar sorts of areas. Everything is good on that front.

“If I ever called him up and said ‘Look I have a problem I want to speak to you’ he would always give me his time.”

While Jack admits to liking takeaways he’s going to have to start watching his diet as he prepares to relaunch his boxing career.

He said: “Boxing has always been part of my life, I love it. I used to be in really good shape and I want to get back to that and get in good shape again.

“I was never that ripped – don’t think Adam Collard. I just need to be thinner. It is more for fitness but I can’t wait to get back in the ring.”

And Jack's boxing career isn't his only focus, with the former stationery salesman going on to launch his own pen line, as well as fronting a brand new range of clothes called Rey.

Of his recent achievement he said: "Obviously I’ve bought out my own pen which was a bit of a no brainer really. I’ve got my own pen, you know what I mean? It blows my mind."
