Trevor Noah’s career exploded once he took over The Daily Show for Jon Stewart in 2015. Since then, he has become a household name, a best-selling author, and the host for the 2021 Grammys. With so many accomplishments behind him, the South African comic is worth a whopping $100 million (per Celebrity Net Worth) — and he has a house that proves it.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Noah rang in the new year with the purchase of a $27.5 million massive Bel-Air mansion on Dec. 30, 2020. The house is a sprawling 11,000-square-feet estate that boasts 11 bathrooms, six bedrooms, an office, and a library. Plus, it’s the perfect place for both recreation and relaxation, as it also includes a gym, a game room, a steam room, and a spa.
Noah has a history of owning impressive homes. The LA Times noted that he previously spent $20.5 million on another modern mansion in Bel-Air, but ended up selling it a year later and made just over $1 million in profit. Noah is a bi-coastal star, as he also owns a New York City penthouse (per Architectural Digest), which he bought for $10 million in 2017. The high-end residence is 3,600 square feet over two stories and has a marvelous view of Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood.

Trevor Noah bought his home directly from the man who designed it, Mark Rios, per the Los Angeles Times. “Architects have a hard time designing for themselves. I went through over 50 plans before we settled on one,” he told Architectural Digest in 2017 about the mansion. “I was more experimental and did more in the detailing with this home,” he continued. The details include Japanese-inspired aesthetics, like dark timbers in the library, which were meant to resemble a room Rios came across in Kyoto.
Rios also paid attention to the fun factor of the mansion and consequently built a rooftop party room and terrace, “which makes it fun to entertain,” he said. The outside area of the house is an entertainer’s dream, fit with a gorgeous 15-by-60-foot infinity pool surrounded by grass and “a pool pavilion area that includes an outdoor fire pit, dining table, and bar,” per Hilton & Hyland. A second outdoor entertaining area offers a glass-enclosed sun deck with “unobstructed views from nearly 360 degrees.” To top it all off, the grounds also boast a “lemon terrace” that is filled with citrus trees that give the space a fresh scent.
Noah seemingly hit the jackpot with his impressive space, but only time will tell if he will settle down or be on the hunt for some more luxurious real estate once again.
