Inside EastEnders star James Farrar's love life with stunning wellness guru wife Ali as they prepare to welcome baby

EASTENDERS star James Farrar today revealed the happy news he's having a baby, posing for a cute picture with his wife Ali.

But becoming parents for the first-time is just the latest adventure for the couple, who have been together for 14 years.

James, who plays Zack Hudson in EastEnders – and was Liam Gilmore in Hollyoaks before that – calls her his "life partner and life coach all in one".

Ali Roth Farrar, to use her full name, met James at university and stayed together though his stints at drama school right through to his stardom on EastEnders.

She's an author and yoga teacher who has published a book called Wellness, which helps people kick-start happier lives.

And it certainly seems to be working for them – with the couples' Instagram account littered with pictures of them enjoying themselves in exotic locations.

The good-looking pair posed together to announce their baby news today with Ali writing: "Mama and Papa," with James commenting underneath: "Sexy Mama."

Among the cute pictures of them together on social media is a shot of them dressed to the nines on the balcony of a Thames-side pub, looking back at their early years together.

Londoner James, 34, wrote alongside the picture in 2019: "When we first met we were 'unavailable'.

I'm a lucky boy. Keep on shining – I'll ensure I push you to succeed in everything you do.

"Our interests were football, netball, partying and being rascals. We couldn't help falling for each other and a lot has happened since.

"In our 12 years together Ali has spent time travelling the world educating herself on Eastern and Western philosophy. I spent a year away from London filming a TV show.

"We moved to Blackheath [in London] together and got married. We founded a successful retreat #TheRemedyRetreats…

"Ali had a flourishing career at a big finance investment cooperation but left to pursue her dream – writing."

The star, who often poses shirtless showing off his incredibly sculpted body, added: "Our friends and family go to Ali for support and she'll always make light of the situation having created such balance in her own life."

He told fans: "I'm a lucky boy. Keep on shining – I'll ensure I push you to succeed in everything you do. Not that you need it ⭐."
