I'm a Celebrity Extra Camp's Joe Swash forced to head to Australia early after he was robbed

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Extra Camp host Joe Swash is heading out to Australia early after his car was “robbed” last week.

The spin-off host, who’s in a relationship with Loose Women‘s Stacey Solomon, revealed that his clothes were stolen from his car, while he was go-karting with his son.

Speaking to Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes alongside his co-hosts Joel Dommett and Scarlett Moffatt, he explained: “I’ve been robbed a few times, Phil. My car got robbed about 10 days ago.

“I went go-karting with my little boy and my mum left the car open and they went in the boot and nicked my ASOS bag with my clothes in – really funky shirts, as well.

“I’ve got some stuff from other labels as well, but you’re more than welcome to give me some free gear,” he joked.

Joe continued: “I’ve got about four shirts at the moment, because I’ve got to go early – because I’m working – so I thought I was going to go and buy the stuff in Australia, so there’s no way anyone can rob it off me in England and I know it’s in the right place at the right time.

“What I should do, is I should take the stylist that they offer me, instead of doing it by myself.”

The trio explained that they aren’t told who’ll join the show’s line-up after Joe Swash’s nan accidentally leaked one of the celebrities to the press.

“I told my nan and then my nan lives in Norfolk, and some geezer bumped into her and started asking her questions. She told this fella everything and he worked for the Norfolk Gazette and then it whittled down that they found out it was me. It’s the biggest scoop Norfolk Gazette has ever had.”

And the cheeky chappy also joked that the show’s title music makes his “nipples go hard” right at the start of the interview. That’s very useful information we thought you’d definitely want to know.

This year’s I’m a Celeb will see Holly Willoughby join Declan Donnelly for presenting duties following Ant McPartlin’s rehab recovery.

Speaking about her new job, Holly said: “I couldn’t be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure. I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.

“These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit… Honestly, I’m a huge fan of I’m a Celebrity and actually feel like I’ve won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show! When is it a good time to tell Dec I’m scared of everything that moves?!”

This Morning continues weekdays from 10.30am.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! begins later this year.
