Who is Anton Du Beke?

Anton Du Beke, 52, is a British ballroom dancer and television presenter.

He is best known as one of BBC One show Strictly Come Dancing's professional dancers and has been on the show since its 2004 beginnings.

It was reported he was upset that, after being on the show from the beginning, that he wasn't considered for the head judge role when Len Goodman quit last year.

Anton has also appeared on various other TV shows, including The Underdog Show, Step Up to the Plate, Hole in the Wall and Victoria Wood's Midlife Christmas.

Before his professional dancing career was launched, Anton had humble beginnings as a salesman.

He now lives in Buckinghamshire.

Has Anton released an album?

Anton released his debut album From The Top on November 24, 2017.

He has collaborated with singers including Connie Fisher, Hayley Sanderson and The Overtones for the collection of 17 cover versions.

These include modern hits I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor mixed up with Blue Moon and Dean Martin hit, That's Amore.

How did Anton meet Hannah Summers? When did they get married?

Anton and Hannah started dating in 2009 after meeting at a golf club.

Hannah, 41, was the head of telecommunications firm AdaptiveMobile Security Ltd at the time.

In 2016, Anton hinted he was ready to tie the knot with her, and said: “She’s just perfect. I love her above all things. Will we marry? Maybe next year. We’re very happy.”

Anton surprised fans everywhere by secretly getting hitched to his long-term love.

The couple sparked rumours they’d tied the knot after Hannah, wore an engagement ring and wedding band during the first day of Chelsea Flower Show.

The Strictly stalwart’s spokesman later confirmed they had indeed got married on the quiet following the birth of their twins.


When were Anton's twins born?

Hannah and Anton became parents to a little boy and a little girl slightly on March 30, 2017.

The pair were expecting the babies to arrive on April 4 – but despite arriving nearly a week early Anton has assured that the twins and the new mum are all fine.

The ballroom dancer announced the arrivals with a cute Instagram post of a top hat and cane framing two pairs of baby dancing shoes – one with blue bows and one with pink.

They have yet to reveal the names for their son and daughter.

When he spoke about the pregnancy on Lorraine, Anton was presented with matching glittery bibs for his twins – one bright pink and one bright blue.

He appeared to love the gift and told Lorraine: “We're thinking of the names Antoine and Antoinette!

“I hope my kids are as camp as I am.”

The pair conceived through IVF, and were later spotted leaving hospital with the twins in carrier cots and beaming as they headed to their car.
