Tonight’s episode of Hollyoaks (November 22) left fans clutching their chests – in a good way – as James and Romeo finally had some father-son bonding time.
The episode saw James take Prince’s advice to bond with his long-lost son, later buying him a pair of shoes. Romeo was furious at first, but James then asked him for a second chance.
They went for a drink and although it was a bit awkward, they seemed to get on rather well, warming the hearts of viewers.
One viewer tweeted: “james and romeo genuinely bonding, wanting to know each other and MAKING EACH OTHER LAUGH might just be the purest thing I’ve ever seen.”
While another said: “Hollyoaks are finally giving us the James and Romeo content we’ve been waiting for.”
However, fans were soon left frustrated when Mac arrived to tell Romeo that James knew he had a son all along.
One fan tweeted: “So glad to see James is actually trying to make an effort to build a relationship with his Son! Although I see Mac is up to his usual tricks. Don’t fall for it Romeo!”
Hollyoaks airs weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings on E4 at 7pm.
