Hollyoaks viewers shocked as it's revealed Milo Entwistle DIDN'T die after being crushed by a car

The scheming character – played by Nathan Morris – sacrificed himself to save Tom Cunningham's life after his kidnapping of Cindy Cunningham was exposed in last night's episode.

Milo's secret was finally exposed to the family, discovering he had been responsible for the death's of Tom and Cindy's dad Gordon Cunningham in a car accident in 2004.

Tom and Holly tracked down Milo’s location and arrived to the scrap yard to find Cindy in the Cunningham’s car hanging from a crane, with Milo at the controls.
Tom attempted to stop Milo but in the process, the lever controlling the crane snapped off, leaving Cindy in perilous danger.

While they managed to save her, the car suspended in the air fell, and Milo pushed Tom out of the way, sacrificing himself.

But in tonight's E4 first look, the character somehow survived, but at a cost, as he faced a long prison sentence after confessing all to the police while in hospital recovering from his injuries.

Milo apologised for everything he had done to the family, and Tom somehow managed to find it in his heart to forgive him.

Milo promised the family they would never see him again, as he was transferred to a hospital in Birmingham to learn to walk again.

Fans had mixed emotions about Milo's final scenes, with one writing on Twitter: "How on earth is Milo still alive?!" while another added: "OH COME ON! A car fell on Milo from a great height and he survived? How?"

A third tweeted: "Think I'll miss Milo" while another wrote: "I know Milo was crazy but his heart was in the right place at the end of the day. So sad."
