Sorry Dancy fans, it looks like Hollyoaks bosses really are serious about splitting up Nancy and Darren Osborne for good as they’ve already been separated in the opening titles.
The Osborne couple have been torn apart this week, after Nancy discovered everything about Darren’s big betrayal.
Nancy was left devastated after finally learning that her husband Darren had been cheating on her with their friend Mandy Richardson.
Although Darren has desperately tried to fight for their marriage, a twist in last night’s episode was seemingly the final straw for Nancy when she caught him kissing Mandy again.
Despite vowing that they were over for good, Nancy later contemplated forgiving Darren after all – only to catch him in a compromising position with his former lover.
Furious, Nancy then recruited Sienna Blake as part of her revenge plan – and sadly, it really doesn’t look like her and Darren will be reuniting anytime soon.
Prior to the latest drama in last night’s episode, the estranged Osborne couple had already been separated in the title sequence, confirming that this really is the end for them.
Despite previously appearing together, Nancy can now be seen in a shot with Brooke, while Darren features in a solo shot earlier on in the sequence.
We already knew that the pair would be splitting up for the foreseeable future, with show boss Bryan Kirkwood confirming it in a recent chat with Digital Spy.
Responding to a tweet about it, Ashley Taylor-Dawson – who plays Darren – said: “Holy mother of God!! WWWWWWHHHHAAAAAT!!”
