This Morning host Phillip Schofield was left stunned during the show on Monday, as he celebrated his birthday alongside co-host Holly Willoughby.
Holly claimed Phillip wasn’t really keen to make a big deal out of the event, only for her to deliver a present that left him in shock.
She announced that there was a dream guest Phil had always hoped to interview, and that she had a little message for him.
Suddenly a video began playing on screen, with Phillip’s reaction shown at the bottom, and it was priceless.
Dame Judi Dench began speaking, apologising for not being there on his special day before wishing him a happy birthday.
She told him: “I’m here to wish you happy April Fool’s Day which I happened to hear is also your birthday, so happy birthday.
“I’m sorry I’m not there, cos I’m in Borneo, so I can’t come and give you a big hug but I will when I get back.”
Phillip remained open-mouthed throughout the entire thing, before looking at Holly with her telling him: “I know, I know.”
A clearly stunned Phillip then shouted: “Best present ever. Oh my God, that’s the best present ever.”
Holly revealed how the show almost didn’t air it, but she insisted they did for Phil.
She also showed him a London Underground train station board, which revealed another birthday message for him.
Phillip then thanked Holly and the team, as well as viewers, for their love and messages on his big day.
