Hannah Brown Clapped Back After Chris Harrison Shared Jake Owen's Diss Track About Her

Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette is long gone, but as Peter Weber begins his quest for love on ABC, it’s only natural that Hannah’s name be brought up and that she make an appearance. You know, for closure. For the most part, Bachelor Nation is fine with this, but country star Jake Owen (who performed on her season), is so over Hannah and wrote a song to relate to Peter and express his feelings.

Last night, Jake went live on Instagram to share his new tune, which he insisted is not about Hannah, but you can be the judge of that. Check out these lyrics:

He also went on to sing:

After he sang, Jake was like, “I love Hannah Brown, she’s awesome. So it’s no diss on her,” but anyone who has tuned in to the franchise would catch onto those crystal clear Alabama, Dancing With the Stars, and windmill references.

Well, Hannah heard the song and took to her Instagram Stories to reveal her reaction. It’s safe to say she was amused but definitely cl0cked the shade. She said, “By the way, Jake, I thought we were cool. C’mon. It’s hilarious and even though it’s like a diss at me the whole time, I was tapping my foot along to it and laughing. You need to check it out.”

She then thanked her fans for coming to her defense and added, “To be quite honest, this is funny. At least the shade—the diss—is catchy and you can tap your foot to it. It’s not near as brutal as what these 40-year-old Facebook moms say about me.”

Oh and for some reason, Chris Harrison decided to jump in on this and refer to Jake as “my man,” which Hannah was not here for. Around 2 a.m., Hannah tweeted at Chris and told him to put some respect on her name. She clapped back with, “Better just be his truth Christopher. I’m not just chop liver now—you still have to love me and try to understand my mess.”

Okay, I think we’ve all learned a very valuable lesson here today. Don’t come for Hannah because she and her Hannah B. hive will see you right out the door. Roll tide, etc., etc.
