Gogglebox: Lee Riley and Jenny Newby disgusted at horrific Bear Grylls scene

Gogglebox favourites Lee Riley and Jenny Newby were back sitting on their sofa ready to watch this week’s best telly for another edition of the Channel 4 show.

But the pair were left disgusted after watching a scene from Bear’s Mission With David Walliams where Bear gives him a lesson on finding something to eat in the wild.

As they watched Bear Grylls direct a rat, a horrified Lee said: “You know what there’s something up with f**king Bear Grylls.”

The TV-watching duo weren’t the only ones disgusted and viewers watching took to Twitter to comment.

One said: “I hate rats so much, and watching them dissect a dead one while I eat a pizza is just too much #gogglebox @davidwalliams.”

Another tweeted: “Who the f**k would eat a dead rat apart from Bear Grylls? He’s a weird one #gogglebox.”

“Cow puss last week and rat guts this week. Thanks #Gogglebox,” said a third.

“Awww NOOOOO Bear Grills NOOOOOOO #GoggleBox,” remarked a fourth.

“Won’t lie, watching Bear Grylls pull the guts out of a dead rat wasn’t the sort of Friday night TV I wanted to accompany my wine and chocolate #Gogglebox,” another added.

A sixth wrote: “Yep! I just nearly vomited watching Bear Grylls on #Gogglebox.”

In last week’s episode, Gogglebox favourites were disgusted after watching a clip from The Yorkshire Vet.

The scene showed vet Julian Norton examining a large abscess on a cow and then popping it to reveal a huge amount of puss.

A mixture of blood and puss came rushing out leaving the duo watching it horrified.

Watching the scene, Lee recoiled and exclaimed: “Oh, f***ing her!”

Julian can then be heard saying: “It stinks as well,” causing Lee to remark: “Shut up Julian” as he covered his eyes.

Retching, Lee rushed off away from the camera and could be heard making noises as if he was being sick.

Similar to tonight, viewers agreed with Lee and took to Twitter to comment.

One remarked: “Urgh that Vet squeezing the cows abscess on #gogglebox was sick.”

Another wrote: “Slightly sick in my mouth just now #theyorkshirevet #cowabscess gotta love #Gogglebox.”

“#Gogglebox just made my Mum nearly sick…I’m laughing hysterically,” tweeted a third.

Gogglebox airs every Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm.
