George Michael’s seven bedroom North London mansion up for rent at £15,000 A WEEK – The Sun

GEORGE Michael's seven bedroom North London mansion has been put on the rental market – at a eye-watering price of £15,000 A WEEK.

The Grade II-listed Highgate home is secretly being advertised by an estate agent that lets out properties to an A-list clientele.

George, who died from heart and liver complications on Christmas Day 2016 aged just 53, left the bulk of his £98 million fortune to his sisters Melanie and Yioda.

Instead of selling the home – which he bought for £8million – they’ve listed it with the agency whose clients include Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Rhianna.

The singer spent many of his reclusive years at the property, which was previously owned by singer Annie Lennox.

A source told The Mail on Sunday: "The family don’t want to let it go yet, instead they want others to enjoy the beautiful house.

"Nobody knows which A-lister will be in there yet but it is likely to be somebody really big.

"It’s the most ideal place, kitted out for celebrities."

One of the big draws is that it's just 25 minutes away from the Warner Bros. Studios in Hertfordshire where blockbuster movies such as Harry Potter and James Bond: Goldeneye were made – perfect for an Hollywood actor.

The property boasts a swimming pool, it's own bar area, and has a back gate that leads straight on to Hampstead Heath, with views over the capital.

Kate Moss has a home next door, and once revealed she used to climb a ladder to get into his garden so she could have pool parties with her daughter Lila Grace, 16.

In an interview she told BBC 6 Music, she said: "He’s got a pool, so when it’s hot I’m like, 'Can Lila come and jump in your pool?' And he’s like, “Yeah, come over.”

"We can actually climb from garden to garden over the walls with a ladder."

George lived in the seven-bedroom property with Kenny Goss, his partner for 13 years until 2009.

He was found dead in his bed at another property he owned in Oxfordshire on Christmas Day by his controversial on/off lover Fadi Fawaz.

His property portfolio also included a mansion in Regent's Park and a beachside pad in Palm Beach near Sydney.
