The 37-year-old bumped into the Labour leader at the Pride Of Britain Awards on Monday evening and has described it as “magical” after appearing rather star-struck.
She told the Mirror: “It was a magical moment. He said it was a pleasure to meet me, and that he liked my dress – he obviously loved it that I was wearing red.
“It was like When Harry Met Sally.”
The star added: “I want to go to lunch with him. I’m not finished with Corbyn – he’s inspired me.”
When Harry Met Sally is a 1989 romantic comedy staring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan as two
friends who have known each other for years but are not sure if they should take their relationship to the next level.
The Towie star was spotted looking very excited to meet Jeremy on the red carpet.
She could be seen saying when he left: "Oh my god! Yeah (I'm starstruck)"
Gemma looked incredible at the bash in her stand out dress, which showed off her recent weight loss.
The reality TV favourite has already lost a dress size thanks to her Dancing On Ice training.
She also revealed at the event that she had insured herself before her appearance on the upcoming skating show.
Gemma, who escaped serious injury after she fell through a hole in the stage at the Radio 1 Teen Awards last year, said she is not taking any chances with hurting herself.
She said: "I've got myself insured so I'm insured for quite a bit so if it did happen then it would sort of be a blessing in disguise.
"Just in case I damage the body of the GC. I'm not worried so if I was to fall I'll be all right."
