Game of Thrones season eight, episode three is likely to see the Night King make his first appearance of the series if the first look pictures and GOT promo are anything to go by. Ahead of the character’s arrival, some Game of Thrones fans have been wondering what the Night King looks like in real life.

What does the Night King look like in real life?

The Night King actor Vladimir Furdik, 48, often shares photos of himself on his Instagram page.

Game of Thrones fans may only be used to seeing Furdik in full makeup as the HBO series villain.

HBO viewers were first introduced to Furdik’s Night King in season five, episode four, Sons of the Harpy.

Actor Richard Brake has also played the Night King on-screen but only in a handful of episodes.

Who plays the Night King on Game of Thrones?

Furdik landed the role on Game of Thrones after working in some of the world’s biggest TV series and films.

The stuntman-turned-actor previously worked on Marvel blockbuster Thor: The Dark World as Christopher Eccleston’s stunt double.

He also worked as a stuntman on Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows alongside Oscar-nominee Robert Downey Jr.

The GOT star’s CV also includes roles in Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, James Bond smash Skyfall and Starz original Spartacus.

WILL GAME OF THRONES SEASON 8 BE ON NETFLIX?

In Game of Thrones, Furdik has impressed in his role as the evil, demonic Night King.

The character didn’t feature in season eight episodes Winterfell or A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, but his presence was felt throughout.

Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and several others gathered in Winterfell to prepare for his arrival.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms ended with the Night King’s army arriving in Winterfell, setting up a tantalising third episode of the series.

Episode three is without question one of the most unmissable instalments to date.

At 82 minutes in length, the runtime for Game of Thrones season eight, episode three is the longest episode in the show’s history.

Whether the Night King will be seen beyond episode three will be revealed as season eight progresses.

There hasn’t been a GOT 70 leak beforehand to suggest what his fate will be.

The Game of Thrones cast and synopsis for each episode is also being withheld by HBO until each instalment airs.
