Note: The following contains spoilers for Fear the Walking Dead season 4.
Following her shock exit from Fear the Walking Dead, Kim Dickens has found herself a new project.
The actress bowed out of her role as Madison during the season 4 mid-season finale, sacrificing herself so everyone else could escape.
As reported by Deadline, Dickens will be appearing in the Showtime pilot Queen Fur, a show about a curvy high school dropout in Central Florida who lands a big opportunity.
The show will apparently combine beauty pageants, gun culture and even Cuban revolutionaries. No zombies though, because we’re guessing she needs a detox from that.
Dickens will be playing the mother of the main character, who’s a former beauty queen herself. Will she be supportive of her daughter, or a manipulate mom like in Black Swan?
The actress recently spoke about her Fear exit, saying that it was “so sad” for her.
“Madison has been an incredible character to play. I feel like I worked my whole career to get to this point to play her. It’s been an honour.”
She also thanks her fans on Instagram, stating: “It’s been an honour to play such a strong, badass, empowered, fierce leader.
“I’ll miss playing Madison Clark but she will always be with me (because it’s me). Thank y’all for watching.”
Fear the Walking Dead airs Sundays on AMC in the US and on Mondays on AMC on BT TV in the United Kingdom.
