‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile’ Clip: Zac Efron & Lily Collins In Ted Bundy Pic Bought By Netflix

Here’s a first clip of Zac Efron and Lily Collins in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, the Ted Bundy film acquired by Netflix out of Sundance. Watch it below (note that it only is viewable in the UK).

The film is a chronicle of the crimes of the notorious serial killer from the perspective of his longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer, who refused to believe the truth about him for years. Kaya Scodelario, Haley Joel Osment, Angela Sarafyan, Jim Parsons and John Malkovich also star.

Sky Cinema is releasing in the UK, where it will be in cinemas and on Sky from May 3. Netflix hasn’t set a release date yet.

Ara Keshishian and Nicolas Chartier produced for Voltage Pictures, Michael Costigan for COTA Entertainment and Michael Simkin for Efron’s Ninjas Runnin’ Wild Productions. Voltage’s Jonathan Deckter and Ninjas Runnin’ Wild’s Jason Barrett served as executive producers. Netflix picked the film up for U.S. and some international markets in a deal pegged at $9M.

Director Berlinger is also behind Netflix’s popular true crime doc Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, released on the service earlier this year. Berlinger pieced together archival footage and audio recordings of Bundy that were made while he was on death row.
