ESCAPE To The Chateau's Angel Adoree and Dick Strawbridge are famous for buying and renovating a sprawling French property.
But before they flipped the ostentatious French chateau and starred in a Channel 4 series about the process, they were working towards very different careers.
Angel married Dick Strawbridge – whom she met via their shared agent – in November 2015, and they raised two children together, Arthur and Dorothy.
In January the same year, Angel and Dick quit the UK in search of a better life in France.
They purchased a 19th-century chateau – Chateau-de-la-Motte Husson – in the Pays de la Loire, and began restoring the property.
The property, which is featured in TV show Escape To The Chateau, has 45 rooms, 78 windows, 12 acres and one moat.
Angel is best known for writing the Vintage Tea Party book series, and she's also a trained image consultant.
She appeared on Dragon's Den in 2010 and was offered £100,000 investment from Deborah Meaden and Theo Paphitis for developing her website and business, The Vintage Patisserie.
However, after the show, the investment didn't materialise.
But in 2011, she opened her first Vintage Patisserie in Hackney, East London.
As for Dick who is best known for his work as a TV presenter on Scrapheap Challenge, he was a former lieutenant-colonel in the British Army.
Dick started life in Burma before being educated in Northern Ireland.
After attending Welbeck College, he later went to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and received a commission to the army in 1979 and joined the Royal Corps of Signals a year later.
Dick was soon promoted to lieutenant and then to captain in 1985 and retired as a lieutenant colonel in 2001.
In 1993 he was awarded an MBE for distinguished service in Northern Ireland and also had an honours degree in Electrical Engineering.
Other shows Dick has appeared on include It's Not Easy Being Green, The Biggest Railway In The World, Ready Steady Cook, Bargain Hunt, CarPool, and Trainspotting Live.
In 2010, Dick appeared on Celebrity MasterChef and gave himself food poisoning while on the show, eating a 'dodgy oyster' that made him violently sick.
All episodes of Escape To The Chateau are available to watch on Channel 4's streaming platform All 4.
There are seven series and 39 episodes in total, including various specials.
The show began in June 2016.
