Emmerdale star Rosie Bentham looked dramatically different to her character Gabby Thomas as she celebrated her 20th birthday over the weekend.

The 20 year old actress took to Instagram to share a glamorous photo of her celebrations in Nottingham where she wore a stylish red mini dress and black barely-there heels.

Rosie styled her brunette locks into a sleek blow-dried hairdo, and added a slick of radiant make-up as she posed for the camera.

The actress' 37.8K followers were quick to react to the snap with her former co-star Mimi Slinger, whose character Leanna Cavanagh was brutally murdered by Meena Jutla on the soap last month, writing: "My bestie."

Rosie shares a close bond with Mimi and after her character was killed off, she wrote a sweet Instagram post gushing how "proud" she was of her best pal.

She penned: "Mimi Slinger. Gna miss your face at work. Proudest ever Watch this space xxxx @mimislinger."

Rosie has been starring on Emmerdale as Gabby Thomas since 2016 and her character is currently involved in a dramatic storyline.

This week in the village, things go from bad to worse for pregnant Gabby as she clutches her stomach in pain and is rushed to hospital after she learns Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) is planning to leave the village.

Gabby has had a rough time recently after losing her best friend Leanna, who was murdered by "evil" nurse Meena, and discovering she is pregnant with Jamie's baby, who has been mistreating her, after a one night stand.

On this week's episodes, Will Taylor accidentally lets slip that Jamie is moving away, which leaves Gabby feeling heartbroken and hurt.

Things between the pair go from bad to worse when Gabby catches Jamie breaking into Home Farm. She’s gutted he’s leaving and feels betrayed, but there’s no time to dwell on it.

Soon, Gabby clutches her stomach in pain and thankfully Will arrives in the nick of time and offers to take her to hospital.

However, in yet another cruel twist, Jamie on the other hand tells her that he never wanted their baby after their drunken one night stand.
